Lab Report Terms of Service

These terms apply when you install or use Lab Report AI Audit ("Lab Report", "the app"), provided by Digital Commerce Lab, 85 Reichert Crt, Milton ON L9T 8R6, Canada ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.
The service
Lab Report audits the Shopify store that installed it. It reviews your public storefront on a mobile and a desktop screen size and produces a report of issues that may get in the way of buying, with suggested fixes. The app only reads your store data and does not change your store, products or theme.
Your account and store
- You must have the authority to install apps on the store you connect.
- If you save a storefront visitor password, you confirm you are allowed to share it with us for audits.
- You are responsible for any changes you make to your store based on a report.
Plans and billing
- Free: 1 audit, with the top 3 issues in full and the rest listed by title and priority.
- Pro, 19 USD every 30 days: 4 full audits in each 30 day billing period, the full report, PDF download, past audits, choosing which of your store pages to check, and 10 page rechecks.
- Growth, 49 USD every 30 days: everything in Pro, plus adding any page of your store (up to 10 pages per audit), 15 full audits and 50 page rechecks in each billing period, and first place in line when audits are busy.
- All charges are billed by Shopify through your Shopify invoice. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time on the Plans page in the app. Shopify handles credits and refunds according to its billing rules.
- We may change prices with notice in the app. Changes apply from your next billing period.
Reports, AI and estimates
- Reports are generated with the help of an AI service from screenshots and page data, and may contain mistakes. Please use your own judgement before making changes.
- Expected lift ranges and revenue figures are estimates for guidance only. They are not measurements of your store and not a promise or guarantee of results.
- Revenue scenarios use the numbers you enter and are scenarios, not forecasts.
- A recheck looks at one page at one moment. Confirmed fixed means the AI no longer found that issue on that page when it rechecked.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, for example by trying to access other stores' data, interfering with the service, or reverse engineering it. We may suspend access if the app is misused.
Data and privacy
How we handle your information is described in our Lab Report Privacy Policy.
Our content
The app, its design and its report formats belong to Digital Commerce Lab. You may use and share the reports generated for your own store, for example with your team or developers.
Availability
We work to keep the app available and working well, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. Audits can fail, for example when a store blocks automated visits.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as is, and Digital Commerce Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales or profits, arising from the use of the app or its reports. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end or change the service with reasonable notice. Data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do, and for important changes we will let merchants know in the app or by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
